About MPO
Japan's camera makers, through CIPA, made the Multi-Picture Format in 2009, the year Fujifilm's FinePix Real 3D W1 took photos through two lenses. The Nintendo 3DS saves its 3D photos as MPO too, and some Sony and Panasonic cameras save 3D shots that way.
An MPO is two or more JPEGs one after the other, with an index in the first saying where each starts and what it is: a left and a right eye, parts of a panorama, or angles of one subject. A JPS is a JPEG with both eyes side by side.
Filepeek reads the index and shows each picture as a page, named Left eye and Right eye for a stereo pair, and a JPS as the pair, then each eye on its own. Export saves the one on show as PNG or JPEG.

Questions
How do I open an MPO file?
Drop it on this page or press Peek an MPO. The left eye shows first, and the right eye is the next page.
Why does my MPO show only one picture elsewhere?
An MPO starts like a JPEG, so most apps show the first picture, the left eye, and stop there. Filepeek reads its index and shows every one.
How do I get 3D photos off a Nintendo 3DS?
They're on its SD card, in the DCIM folder, as .mpo files. Copy them to a computer and drop them here.
What is a JPS file?
A stereo photo with both eyes in one JPEG, side by side, usually the right eye first for cross-eyed viewing. NVIDIA's 3D Vision saved game screenshots that way. Filepeek shows the pair, then each eye.
