About MRW
MRW is the raw format of Minolta's and Konica Minolta's digital cameras, from the Dimage 5 and 7 of 2001 to the Dynax 7D and 5D. Konica Minolta left cameras in 2006, and Sony's Alpha line grew out of its work.
An MRW holds 12 bit sensor data with the camera's settings and a small JPEG preview, in blocks of Minolta's own around a TIFF directory.
No browser shows MRW by itself, and few apps still do. Filepeek develops it with LibRaw, the open source raw decoder, using the camera's white balance, and Export saves a JPEG or a PNG.

Questions
How do I open old Minolta raw files?
Drop them on this page or press Peek an MRW. They open right in your browser, with nothing to install.
Can I convert MRW to JPEG?
Yes. Choose Export, then Save as JPEG.
Why does it look flatter than the camera's JPEG?
The camera applied its own contrast and color. Filepeek develops the raw data neutrally, with the camera's white balance.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The photo opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
