About AAB
An Android App Bundle is a ZIP of modules: base/ holds the app's manifest, code and resources, and each feature module sits beside it. The manifest and resources are saved as protocol buffers, not the binary XML APKs use, and BundleConfig.pb says how Google Play should split the app.
No phone installs an AAB. Google Play builds APKs from it for each device and signs them with the app's signing key, which Play keeps. The bundle itself is signed with the developer's upload key, the way a Java JAR is signed, so Play knows who sent it.
Filepeek turns the bundle's manifest into readable XML and lists every permission in plain words, its modules and the SDKs inside by their code. It checks the upload key's signature against each file and works out the SHA-256.

Questions
How do I open an AAB on a computer?
Drop it on this page or choose Peek an AAB. Its files are listed like a folder, with a page beside them on the app, its modules and what it asks for. Nothing installs.
Can I check an AAB's signature?
Yes. Filepeek checks the upload key's signature against every file and shows its certificate. The key Google Play signs the APKs with isn't in the bundle: Play keeps it.
How do I look up an AAB on VirusTotal?
Filepeek works out its SHA-256 inside your browser. Look up on VirusTotal opens VirusTotal's page for that hash, and only the hash goes, never the file. Compare checks it against a SHA-256, SHA-1 or MD5 you paste.
Does opening an AAB install it?
No. Filepeek only reads it: nothing in it runs, nothing is installed and it never leaves your device.
Can I get files out of an AAB?
Yes. Pick any file on the left to open it. Its manifest opens as XML. In Chrome and Edge on a computer, Export extracts them all into a folder.
