Or drop it anywhere on this page

About CBR
A CBR is a RAR archive of pictures, one per page, read in the order of their names, sometimes with a ComicInfo.xml naming the series, the issue and its creators. CDisplay made .cbr and .cbz popular, and RAR made CBR the usual format of scans. Many CBRs are ZIPs under another name.
Comic readers on computers and phones read CBR, but browsers and most phones can't open RAR by themselves, so a CBR someone sends usually needs an app before it shows anything.
Filepeek opens the comic at its first page and unpacks pages with 7-Zip as you come to them, RAR 5 and passwords included. Read a page or two at a time, right to left for manga, and save it as a PDF or as a CBZ that every reader opens.

Questions
How do I open a CBR file?
Drop it on this page or choose Peek a CBR. It opens at its first page, with no WinRAR or comic app to install.
Can I turn it into a CBZ?
Yes. Choose Export, then Save as CBZ, and its pages and details go into a ZIP that every comic reader and e-reader opens.
Can I read manga right to left?
Yes. Choose Right to left, and the pages and spreads read the way manga does. A comic whose ComicInfo.xml says to read it right to left opens that way by itself.
Can it open a CBR with a password?
Yes. Type the password when Filepeek asks, and it opens. The password stays on your device, and it's gone once you close the file.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The comic opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
