Open HAR files in your browser
What a browser's developer tools record of a page loading. Open a HAR file right here as its requests on a timeline. Nothing leaves your device.
Or drop it anywhere on this page
What you'll see
Your recording opens as its requests on a timeline, the one you pick in full beside them.
- Every request on a timeline • Timings for each
- Filter by type, host or errors
- Cookies, tokens and passwords marked
- Export • Save without secrets or as CSV
About HAR
Jan Odvarko made HAR in 2009 for Firebug's network panel, and the developer tools of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari all save one. It's JSON: each request a page made, with its headers, cookies and timings, and often the response's body.
Support teams ask for HAR files to see why a page fails. But a recording keeps everything that was sent, so cookies, sign-in tokens and passwords typed into forms are in it, and anyone with the file can use them. Clean one before you share it.
Filepeek lists the requests on a timeline, filtered by type, host or errors, and opens each one with its headers, cookies and timings beside the list. Bodies open in their own viewer. Values that can sign someone in are marked, and Save without secrets writes a copy with them blanked.

Questions
How do I open a HAR file?
Drop it on this page or choose Peek a HAR. Its requests open on a timeline, and each one opens in full when you pick it.
Is it safe to share a HAR file?
Not as it is. It holds the cookies and sign-in tokens of the session it recorded, and anything typed into forms. Choose Export, then Save without secrets, for a copy with those values blanked.
Can I find a request by what it sent back?
Yes. Filter finds requests by their address, and Bodies too looks for the words in the responses as well.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
