Open SAFETENSORS files in your browser
The file AI models and LoRAs are shared in, from Hugging Face to Civitai. See what one holds right here, without loading its weights. Nothing leaves your device.
Or drop it anywhere on this page
What you'll see
Your model opens as what it is, read only from its header.
- Architecture, parameters and quantization
- Every tensor in a table • Its type and shape
- Its metadata • Trigger words and tags
- Its weights are never read • Nothing runs
About SAFETENSORS
Hugging Face made safetensors in 2022 as a safe way to share model weights: unlike the pickle files before it, loading one can't run code. Stable Diffusion checkpoints, LoRAs and most models on Hugging Face come as safetensors.
A safetensors file starts with a JSON header that lists every tensor with its type, its shape and where its bytes are, then the weights themselves. Trainers add metadata to the header, like a LoRA's base model, its trigger words and its training tags.
Filepeek reads only the header. It shows the parameters, the tensors and the size of the weights, the trigger words and tags a LoRA keeps, and the tensors in a table to sort and search. The weights are never read and nothing runs.

Questions
How do I see what's in a safetensors file?
Drop it on this page or press Peek a SAFETENSORS. Its size, tensors and metadata show at once, however big the file is, because only the header is read.
Can I find a LoRA's trigger words?
Yes. When the trainer saved them, they show under Trigger words, with the training tags and how often each was used.
Is it safe to open?
Yes. Filepeek only reads the header as data. The weights stay unread and nothing in the file runs.
Is my model uploaded?
No. The model opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
