About UPS
Near, then known as byuu, made UPS to follow IPS, before BPS replaced it. Many Game Boy Advance hacks still come as UPS, and Floating IPS, Rom Patcher JS and emulators like mGBA apply it.
A UPS keeps the size and CRC32 of the ROM it was made for and of the patched one, and each change as its difference from the ROM's bytes. That makes it work both ways: the same patch turns the patched ROM back into the original.
Filepeek shows the ROM the patch needs by its size and CRC32. Apply to a ROM checks the ROM you pick, patches it, or unpatches it when it's already the patched one, checks the result and saves it.

Questions
How do I apply a UPS patch?
Drop the .ups on this page or choose Peek a UPS, then press Apply to a ROM and pick the ROM. Filepeek saves a patched copy, and your ROM stays as it is.
Why does it say my ROM doesn't match?
The patch knows the CRC32 of the ROM it was made for. A hack is usually made for one release of one region, version 1.0 rather than 1.1, and another won't take it.
Can I undo a UPS patch?
Yes. Apply the same patch to the patched ROM, and Filepeek gives back the original.
