About ACCDB
Access 2007 replaced the MDB with the ACCDB, and the Jet engine with ACE, which brought attachments, columns with many values and long text with formatting. Access 2016 added Large Number, for whole numbers past two billion, and later versions Date/Time Extended, which keeps time to a ten millionth of a second. An ACCDE is an ACCDB whose code was compiled and taken out.
Like an MDB, an ACCDB keeps everything in one file, in pages of 4 KB: its tables and their relationships, queries, forms, reports, macros and modules. An attachment column keeps whole files in a row, compressed. A password encrypts the file's pages, with AES since Access 2010, so it can't be read without it.
Filepeek reads the file with its own copy of mdb-reader, a page at a time, and opens it as a folder of its tables, each with its columns in Access types, its primary key, its indexes and its rows counted. An attachment cell lists its files, like receipt.pdf • photo.jpg, and each one opens in its own viewer. A relationship leads from a row to the one it points at, and Search looks in every table. A locked file asks for its password, which stays on your device.

Questions
How do I open an ACCDB file without Access?
Drop it on this page or choose Peek an ACCDB. Its tables show as a folder in the file list, each with its rows counted, and the one you pick opens as a grid, on a Mac, a phone or any computer.
Can it open a database with a password?
Yes. A locked ACCDB asks for its password and opens once you enter it. The password and the file stay on your device.
How do I get the files out of an attachment column?
Click the cell. Its card lists each file with an Open button, and each one opens in its own viewer, a picture as a picture and a PDF as a PDF, where you can save it.
Can I save the tables as Excel or CSV?
Export saves a table as CSV, Excel, JSON, Parquet or SQL, with every row or only the rows you sorted and filtered. The same menu saves every table at once: as a ZIP of CSVs, one Excel workbook with a sheet for each table, a SQLite database or a SQL dump.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The database opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
