About CMX
CMX, Corel Presentation Exchange, is the simpler format Corel's apps use to hand a drawing to one another. CorelDRAW exports it, and Corel's clip art collections came in it by the thousands. Files from Windows are RIFF files, and files from the Mac their big endian twin, RIFX.
Few apps besides CorelDRAW read CMX, so clip art from an old Corel disc often has nothing to open it.
Filepeek reads it with libcdr, compiled to WebAssembly, and draws it with its shapes, curves, fills, outlines and pictures, sharp at any zoom. Export saves it as a PDF or as a picture.
