About MCDF
Mare Synchronos, a plugin for Final Fantasy XIV, shows players the mods other players wear. Its .mcdf files carry one character as its owner sees it, to share with someone who isn't online at the same time.
An .mcdf starts with MCDF and a version, then one stream packed with LZ4. The stream opens with a JSON header holding the description, the character's Glamourer design and Customize+ profile, and every file with the paths in the game it replaces, then the files themselves.
Filepeek unpacks the header into a page with the description and what the character changes, and lists every file like a folder by its game path. Its textures open as pictures.
