About NDS
A .nds file is a Nintendo DS game card copied into a file. DSi games and DS games with DSi features use the same format, with more in their header.
Its header gives the title, a four letter game code, the maker, the card's size and how much of it is used, and where its ARM9 and ARM7 programs and its banner are. The banner holds the 32 × 32 icon the DS menu shows, animated on the DSi, and the title in up to eight languages. The game's own files sit in NitroFS, a file system on the card, often with NARC archives inside.
Filepeek shows the icon and every title, reads the header in plain words and lists the NitroFS files like a folder, NARC archives as folders too. The hashes are of the whole ROM, as No-Intro lists them.
