View OFF files in your browser
The plain mesh format of Geomview, still in geometry research, mesh datasets and 3D machine learning. Open one right here, with nothing to install. Nothing leaves your device.

What you'll see
Your model opens in 3D, lit and framed, with what's in it beside it and what you pick on the other side.
- Turn, zoom and move it • Double click to center on a point
- Every object in a list • Hide one or see it alone
- Its own colors, clay, wireframe or X-ray
- Export • PNG, GLB, USDZ, STL and OBJ
About OFF
OFF comes from Geomview, a viewer the Geometry Center at the University of Minnesota made in the early 1990s. Its plainness kept it alive: geometry papers, CGAL, MeshLab and datasets such as Princeton's ModelNet use it.
An OFF is text: OFF, the numbers of vertices, faces and edges, then a line for each vertex and a line for each face listing its corners, with a color after them when it has one. COFF, NOFF and STOFF add colors, normals and texture coordinates to the vertices.
Filepeek reads it in your browser with its colors: faces as a mesh, or points when it has none. Inspect, Measure and Section work as for any model, and Export saves it as GLB, USDZ, STL or OBJ, or the view as PNG.

Questions
How do I open an OFF file?
Drop it on this page or choose Peek an OFF. It opens at once in 3D, with nothing to install.
Can I turn an OFF into an STL or an OBJ?
Yes. Choose Export to save it as STL or OBJ, or as GLB, which keeps its colors.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The model opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
