About OSK
A skin replaces osu!'s pictures and sounds with its own, from the hit circles and the cursor to the score digits and the menus. Skins are shared as .osk files, which osu! installs when it opens one.
An .osk is a ZIP. skin.ini names the skin, its author and its version and sets its combo colors and other settings. The pictures are PNGs named as the game asks for them, like hitcircle.png and default-1.png, often with @2x copies for sharp screens, beside the sounds.
Filepeek reads skin.ini and draws a sheet from the skin's own pictures: a hit circle with its overlay and number in each combo color, the approach circle, the cursor and the score digits. The combo colors show as swatches, and every picture and sound opens on its own.

Questions
How do I preview an osu! skin?
Drop the .osk on this page or choose Peek an OSK. A sheet drawn from its own pictures shows its hit circles in each combo color, its cursor and its digits, without installing it.
Can I get a skin's pictures out?
Yes. Pick any picture on the left and it opens in the image viewer, where Export saves it as PNG or JPEG.
Is my skin uploaded?
No. It opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
