About OSZ
osu!, the rhythm game Dean Herbert made in 2007, shares its beatmaps as .osz files. Opening one adds it to the game, so a set downloaded from the osu! website or a mapper's page is an .osz.
An .osz is a ZIP. Each difficulty is an .osu file, plain text with the song's timing points and every circle, slider and spinner in order, beside the song as MP3 or OGG, the background picture and sometimes a video, a storyboard and the set's own hitsounds.
Filepeek reads the .osu files as they are and lists the difficulties in order of their overall difficulty, each with its mode, circle size, approach rate, HP drain, BPM, length and objects. The song plays, the background shows, and every file opens on its own.

Drop it on this page or choose Peek an OSZ. Its files are listed like a folder, with a page beside them on the song and every difficulty.
Can I see a beatmap's difficulty settings?
Yes. Each difficulty shows its circle size, approach rate, overall difficulty and HP drain, with its BPM, its length and how many circles, sliders and spinners it has.
Can I get the song out of an OSZ?
Yes. Pick the song on the left, or The song on its page, and it plays in the audio player, where Export saves it.
Is my beatmap uploaded?
No. It opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
