About PTS
Leica Geosystems' Cyclone software exports laser scans of buildings, plants and sites as .pts, and most point cloud tools, like CloudCompare and Autodesk ReCap, read it.
A PTS is text: the number of points on its first line, then a line for each point with its X, Y and Z, its intensity, and often its red, green and blue.
Filepeek reads it in your browser and draws each point in its color, or by its intensity in shades of gray. Turn around it and zoom in, and Export saves the cloud as GLB, or the view as PNG.

Questions
How do I view a PTS laser scan?
Drop it on this page or press Peek a PTS. The scan opens in 3D, in its colors.
Can I save it for another 3D app?
Yes. Choose Export, then Save as GLB, which keeps each point's color.
Does it open scans with no colors?
Yes. Points show by their intensity in shades of gray, or in one gray when there's none.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
