About Sketch
Bohemian Coding released Sketch for the Mac in 2010, and for years it was where most app and web interfaces were designed. Since Sketch 43, in 2017, a .sketch file is a ZIP of JSON files: one for each page, the document's symbols and styles, the pictures it shows, the fonts it keeps and a preview of one page.
Sketch runs only on the Mac, so a .sketch file sent to someone on Windows or Linux usually ends in a request for a PDF or a PNG.
Filepeek shows the preview first, then draws every page from the file itself, sharp at any zoom: artboards, shapes, combined shapes, symbols with their overrides, text in the fonts it names, pictures, shadows and blurs. Browse pages and layers, search the text, inspect any layer for its CSS, and save artboards as PNG or JPEG, a layer as SVG or a page as PDF.

Questions
How do I open a .sketch file on Windows?
Drop it on this page or choose Peek a Sketch. Its preview shows at once, then every page is drawn, with no Mac and nothing to install.
Why does some text look a little different?
Sketch sets text in the fonts the designer had. Filepeek uses the fonts the file keeps or your device has, and a font like it when neither has one, fitted to the same widths.
Can I get a layer's CSS?
Yes. Choose Inspect and click a layer to see its size, position, colors, fonts and effects, with CSS to copy.
Does it open old Sketch files?
Files from Sketch 43, from 2017, and later open. Older ones keep their pages in a form only Sketch reads.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
