About VOX
MagicaVoxel is a free voxel editor by ephtracy, and its .vox files are how voxel art is shared, for games such as Teardown and for pixel art in 3D. Goxel and other voxel apps read and save it too.
A VOX is binary, in chunks: each model's size and its voxels, a cube each with a color from a palette of 256, and in newer files a scene that places several models.
Filepeek reads it in your browser and builds each model from its cubes, in its palette's colors, with sizes and Measure in voxels. Every model is listed, and Export saves it as GLB, USDZ, STL or OBJ, or the view as PNG.

Questions
How do I open a .vox file without MagicaVoxel?
Drop it on this page or choose Peek a VOX. It opens at once in 3D, in its colors, with nothing to install.
Can I 3D print a voxel model?
Yes. Choose Export, then Save as STL, and scale it in your slicer to the size you want.
Can I turn a VOX into a GLB?
Yes. Choose Export, then Save as GLB, for game engines and web pages, or OBJ for other 3D apps.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The model opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
