What you'll see
Your model opens in 3D, lit and framed, its size in millimeters, with its objects beside it and what you pick on the other side.
- Its size in millimeters • Read an STL as inches
- Section • Cut it at any height to see inside
- Every object and plate • Hide one or see it alone
- Export • PNG, STL, OBJ, GLB and USDZ
About 3MF
Microsoft and others formed the 3MF Consortium in 2015 to replace STL with a format that says what a printer needs to know. Slicers now save their projects as 3MF, and MakerWorld and Printables share models in it, plates and colors included.
A 3MF is a ZIP of XML parts: each object's mesh in millimeters or the unit it names, its colors and textures, and the build that places the objects. Slicers add their settings beside it, such as Bambu Studio's and OrcaSlicer's plates and the filament each part prints with.
Filepeek reads it in your browser: each object in its colors, or in the colors of its filaments, with the plates listed with their objects and the filaments with their colors. Measure snaps to corners, Section cuts through it at any height, Inspect gives each object's size, and Export saves it as STL, OBJ or GLB, or the view as PNG.

Questions
How do I open a 3MF file without a slicer?
Drop it on this page or choose Peek a 3MF. It opens at once in 3D, in its colors, with nothing to install.
Can I see each plate?
Yes. A project from Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer lists its plates beside the model with their objects. Click a plate's eye to hide it, or See alone to show only that plate.
Does it show filament colors?
Yes. Parts show in the color of the filament the slicer gave them, and the filaments are listed with their colors below the objects.
Can I turn a 3MF into an STL?
Yes. Choose Export, then Save as STL for any slicer, or GLB, which keeps its colors, for 3D apps.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The model opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
