About TTA
Alexander Djourik made True Audio as a simple, fast lossless codec. Like FLAC and Monkey's Audio, it's used to keep CDs without losing a bit, often a whole album in one file with a CUE sheet.
TTA compresses about as well as FLAC and decodes quickly, with 8, 16 or 24-bit sound. ID3 or APE tags carry the title, artist and album.
No browser plays TTA by itself. Filepeek decodes it with FFmpeg inside your browser, and Export saves an MP3 or WAV that plays anywhere.

Questions
How do I play a TTA file?
Drop it on this page or press Peek a TTA. It plays right in your browser, with nothing to install.
Is TTA lossless?
Yes. A TTA holds the exact sound of the original recording, in about half to two thirds the space of a WAV.
How do I save one song from an album file?
Choose Export and drag the handles on the waveform strip to where the song starts and ends, as the CUE sheet next to it lists, then save it as MP3 or WAV.
Is my music uploaded?
No. The TTA is decoded inside your browser and never leaves your device.
