About YFT

In Grand Theft Auto V, everything that can break apart is a fragment, a .yft file: every car, bike and boat, and props like fences and lamp posts. Vehicle mods come as a YFT with a YTD of its textures.

A YFT is a RAGE resource holding a drawable with the skeleton that places its parts, a car's doors, wheels and bonnet each on a bone of its own. A vehicle's high detail model comes in a _hi.yft beside it.

Filepeek places each part on its bone and draws it with its textures, from the file itself or from the YTD of the same name dropped with it.
