About YTD
Grand Theft Auto V keeps textures in texture dictionaries, .ytd files, one beside each model or set of models that uses them. Car and clothing mods usually come with one.
A YTD is a RAGE resource: an RSC7 header, then its data packed with deflate. It holds a list of textures, each with its name, size, mipmaps and format, mostly DXT1, DXT5 and BC7, as DDS files keep them. GTA V Enhanced, the version of 2025, lays them out anew.
Filepeek unpacks the dictionary and lists its textures like a folder, Legacy's and Enhanced's alike. Each opens in the image viewer with its mipmaps as pages, and Export saves it as PNG or JPEG.
