About YMAP
Grand Theft Auto V builds its world from map data, .ymap files: each places entities, the models of buildings, props and trees, at their position and rotation, with car generators, occluders and a block saying who exported it and when. Map mods are YMAPs.
A YMAP is RAGE metadata, in a resource or in Rockstar's PSO or RBF layouts. Its names are hashes, JOAAT of the name, so a model shows by its hash unless something names it.
Filepeek reads all three layouts into an Overview of every placed entity with its model, position, rotation and LOD distance, beside a tree of the whole file. The structure and field names map files use are named, and a model is named once its YDR is dropped with the map.

Questions
How do I open a YMAP file?
Drop it on this page or choose Peek a YMAP. Every entity it places is listed with its model and position, with the whole file as a tree.
Why are models shown as numbers?
A YMAP keeps only a hash of each model's name. Drop the YDRs and YFTs it places with it, or the folder they're in, and each model is named.
Is my file uploaded?
No. It opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
