About ASE
Adobe Swatch Exchange lets Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe Color share one set of swatches. An ASE file holds colors with their names, in groups, each saved in RGB, CMYK, Lab or gray, as a global, spot or process color.
Brand guides, color tools and palette sites hand out ASE files, but opening one usually means loading it into an Adobe app, just to see the colors.
Filepeek shows every swatch in its group, with its name and value. Click a color to copy it as HEX, RGB, CMYK or Lab, worked out between print and screen colors when it was saved in the other, and save the palette as ASE, GPL or CSS custom properties.

Questions
How do I open an ASE file?
Drop it on this page or choose Peek an ASE. Every swatch shows at once with its name and value.
Can I get the HEX codes?
Yes. Pick HEX in Copy as, then click a color to copy it. RGB, CMYK and Lab work the same way, and Save as CSS saves them all.
Why does a value have ≈ in front of it?
Print and screen colors only match through a color profile. A CMYK value worked out from an RGB swatch, or the other way round, is close but not exact, so it's marked with ≈.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
