About SWATCHES

Procreate saves a palette as a .swatches file: a ZIP with a small JSON file that names the palette and lists its colors, each by hue, saturation and brightness.

Artists sell and share palettes this way, and the file only opens in Procreate, on an iPad or an iPhone.

Filepeek shows the palette's colors on any device, copies any of them as HEX, RGB, CMYK or Lab, and saves the palette as ASE for Adobe's apps, as a GIMP palette or as CSS custom properties.
