About LITEMATIC
masa made Litematica in 2018, a mod that shows a saved build as a ghost in the world, so players build it by hand in survival, block by block, with a list of what it takes. Technical players share their farms and redstone machines as .litematic files.
A .litematic is gzipped NBT with a name, an author and a description, and one or more regions, each a box with its own palette of block states and its blocks packed into long arrays, as few bits each as the palette needs. Chests, signs and entities come with each region.
Filepeek reads it in your browser and builds every region in its place, a block to a meter, in colors of our own: stairs, slabs, fences, doors and plants in their shapes, glass you see through and torches that glow. The kinds of block are listed beside it with how many there are, as Litematica's material list counts them, and Show details gives its name, author and description.

Questions
How do I open a .litematic without Minecraft?
Drop it on this page or choose Peek a LITEMATIC. It opens in 3D with every region in its place and every kind of block counted, with no game or mod.
How do I load a .litematic in Minecraft?
Put it in the schematics folder inside .minecraft, or inside the instance's folder with a launcher like Prism or Modrinth. In the game, press M for Litematica's menu, choose Load Schematics, pick the file and choose Load Schematic. It shows as a ghost where you stand, ready to move into place.
What blocks do I need to build it?
Every kind of block is listed beside the build with how many there are, the most first, as Litematica's material list counts them. Pick one to see its states, like which way its stairs face.
Why don't the blocks look like the game's?
The game's textures are Mojang's, so Filepeek paints each kind of block in a color of its own, close to the game's, in its shape: stairs, slabs, fences, doors and plants as they stand, glass you see through and torches that glow.
