About OMA
Sony's SonicStage, its music app for Walkman and Network Walkman players, ripped CDs as ATRAC files from the early 2000s, named .oma, .omg or .aa3. Many music libraries still hold them.
An OMA holds ATRAC3 or ATRAC3plus, Sony's codecs from the MiniDisc line, at 48 to 352 kbps, or lossless ATRAC.
No browser plays ATRAC by itself, and Sony's apps are long gone. Filepeek decodes it with FFmpeg inside your browser, and Export saves an MP3. Files locked with Sony's copy protection don't play.

Questions
How do I play OMA files?
Drop them on this page or press Peek an OMA. They play right away, a whole album in the file list.
Why does one of my OMA files not play?
Tracks bought from Sony's old store, or ripped with copy protection on, are encrypted with a key tied to the computer that made them.
Can I convert them to MP3?
Yes. Choose Export, then Save as MP3.
Is my recording uploaded?
No. The recording opens inside your browser and never leaves your device.
