About RA
Progressive Networks, later RealNetworks, launched RealAudio in 1995, and it streamed radio, interviews and music on the early web. RealPlayer saved and played .ra files for years.
An RA holds RealAudio sound, from the first versions made for dial-up modems to Cook, used from RealAudio G2 on, or ATRAC3. A .ram file is only a link to a stream, with no sound inside.
No browser plays RealAudio by itself. Filepeek decodes it with FFmpeg inside your browser, and Export saves an MP3 that plays on anything.

Questions
How do I play an RA file without RealPlayer?
Drop it on this page or press Peek an RA. Filepeek decodes it inside your browser, with nothing to install.
Why won't my .ram file play?
A .ram file holds only the address of a stream, which is usually long gone. Filepeek plays the sound itself, in .ra or .rm files.
Can I convert RealAudio to MP3?
Yes. Choose Export, then Save as MP3, which every device plays. Drag the handles on the waveform strip to save only a part.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The RA is decoded inside your browser and never leaves your device.
